We place importance on the training and support of Staff at Gorsey Clough Nursing Home. This ensures that all our Staff are motivated and better informed for the benefit of Residents and the Staff themselves. We can proudly say that 45% of our Staff has worked at the Home for 5 or more years; 25% for 10 years or more; and 10% of our Staff for 15 years or more.
Support is given to all Staff to acquire QCFs (Qualifications and Credit Framework) to all levels. QCFs are designed to recognise a candidate’s competence in the workplace. They provide a statement to employers of skill, competence and knowledge.
The Home benefits from Residents that are looked after by members of Staff who not only understand their needs but can also always respond to them in a very professional manner.
In addition to specialist training our Nurses and Carers are always trained to ensure that the privacy, dignity and choice of each Resident is respected.
