Our Staff
Collette Conway RMN (Home Manager)
Collette has been a First-Level Registered Mental Nurse since 1989 and has worked at the Home for the past 15 years. She achieved her Registered Manager's Award in 2005. Collette places a great importance on keeping up to date in all relevant subjects and her other qualifications include Infection Control, Wound Care, Challenging Behaviour and Fire Safety and Prevention.
Janet Dawson RGN (Deputy Home Manager)
Janet has been at the Home since qualifying as a nurse in 1993. She helps Collette lead a very capable and conscientious nursing team and is always on hand to deal with enquiries in Collette's abscence.
Moira Edge RGN (Night Manager)
Moira is our Night Manager and holds the torch for the Nursing Home at night!
Karen Bell (Office Manager)
Karen has recently been appointed Office Manager and is responsible for the bookeeping of the Home and the adminstration of the office. She is also the first line of enquiry is you have a general query.
Denise Metcalfe (Head Chef)
Head Chef Denise leads our dedicated kitchen providing nutritious and freshly made meals 7 days a week. Special dietary or cultural requirements are catered for (for example low sugar, sodium, protein), and Resident’s requests are always welcome.
Tracey Roughley (House Keeper)
Tracey leads our House Keeping Team. She prides herself on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Home and Tracey and her team all proudly hold NVQ 2's in Cleaning and Support Services.
Susan Harland (Health and Safety Officer)
Sue has worked at Gorsey Clough for the past 10 years and has recenly been appointed Health and Safety Officer. You'll probably recognise her in the Home as a Senior Care Assistant as well. Sue has been responsible for implementing a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System at the Home and is currently in the process of helping to develop BS OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management System.
