Gorsey Clough undergoes a major refurbishment.

We have finally realised our plan to refurbish the majority of it's communal areas. And it's only taken 18 months!!! The work includes: a comprehensive revamp of the dining room, library and lounges; the installation of state-of-the-art entertainment facilities in the library and lounge areas; and fitting special soft touch radiators for improved safety. Particular attention has also been paid to refining the Home's colour scheme and lighting to create a warm and relaxing environment for the Residents.

The refurbishment has also involved some structural work on a corridor to create another bedroom; the sympathetic modernisation of the Residents' bedrooms; a total refurbishment of bathrooms and WCs; and new lighting throughout the Home. We're currently having a smokers' lean-to conservatory being built in the courtyard.
