Below are a selection of comments from families regarding the quality of care of loved ones received at Gorsey Clough Nursing Home.
"For the last year of dad's life you were his family, as well as ours, and took care of dad as we wish we could have done ourselves".
"Your standard of care and consideration for the individual is of the highest quality".
Family of Denis Garvey
"Vera was diagnosed with breast cancer and Alzheimer's and had a masectomy at Fairfield Hospital ... and was discharged from hospital due to a shortage of beds. She was very poorly when she arrived by ambulance at Gorsey Clough. I really thought we were taking her there to die. She was so frail and Gorsey Clough had to pick up the pieces with loving care. Vera grew in strength and now 5 and half years later, is a sprightly individual with an excellent quality of life. I will always be endebted to Gorsey as they gave Vera her life back".

"I have been very honoured to be associated with you all".

"We would like to thank you for all the loving kindness shown to Anne. She came to you poorly with two terribly swollen legs so bad her skin was almost bursting. Within one week of her being here, they were nearly back to normal. You got them better for her. Thank you seems so little to say for so much".
